The Butterfly Effect was another project developed during my BA. I took inspiration from various artist practicing this new type of illusion which involves the manipulation of an image in photoshop. The working photoshop image looks like multiple vertical lines when you place a black and transparent sheet over these lines it will create the image to move. I created a dress with a butterfly image that was printed directly onto the textile. Then I created the black and transparent lines and printed that onto a scarf. This way both pieces are able to stay together as an outfit that the consumer could wear on a night out.
